Who is responsible

Brf Fresta Ängar is responsible for the personal data stored on the website. Contact: styrelsen@frestaangar.se.

What the website stores

For each member we store three things: email address, name and house number. We also store when the details were added. That is all we store about the members.

When someone logs in, we store the code and the link from the email only as a checksum (hash) that cannot be read back, and they expire after 15 minutes. The login itself is stored in the same way. The name of the person who wrote a draft or a comment is visible to the board only.

The website's server logs contain the page address and the time but no email addresses, codes or search terms.

Why

The details are needed so that members can log in with a code sent to their email address, to show the right content to members and the board, and so that the board can email news when it chooses to.

For how long

The details are kept as long as you are a member. The board removes members who move out. A removed member stays in the board's trash for 90 days and is then deleted. Server logs are kept for 30 days. Backups of the website are kept for at most one year.

Cookies and tracking

The website uses two cookies. One keeps you logged in and is needed for the service to work. The other remembers whether you chose Swedish or English. For that reason no cookie banner is needed. The website has no analytics, no tracking and makes no requests to other companies. Fonts and images come from the website itself.

Your rights

You can ask the board for a copy of your details, to have them corrected or to have them removed. Write to styrelsen@frestaangar.se. You can also contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) if you think the details are handled wrongly.
